Main Functions of Protective Plate for Lithium Battery 1) Overcharge protection function
1) The overcharge protection function refers to the prohibition of charging by the charger when a certain voltage (hereinafter referred to as overcharge detection voltage) is reached. That is to say, the overcharged MOS tube will be controlled to turn off and stop charging.
2) The over-discharge protection function
The over-discharge protection function is to stop discharging to the load when the battery voltage becomes low. The MOS tube which controls the over-discharge is turned off and its discharge is forbidden. This process is just opposite to the action of overcharge detection.
3) The over-current protection function
The over-current protection is to stop discharging the load when high current is consumed. The purpose of this function is to protect the lithium battery pack and MOS tube and ensure the safety of the battery in the working state. After the overcurrent detection, the battery will return to normal after separation from the load, and can be recharged or discharged.

1. Working mode
The lithium iron phosphate battery protection board system operates in the static mode, charging mode and discharge mode according to the battery status. The lithium battery protection board system is powered by external power supply, and the start/stop of the system is controlled by external terminals.
2. Protection Measures
The protection board system of lithium iron phosphate battery has the following protective measures: overcharge of single voltage, overcharge of total voltage, over current, high temperature, low temperature, short circuit, etc. When the unit voltage or total voltage is overcharged, the charging MOSFET is turned off and the charging is stopped when the set protection threshold is exceeded. When the over current exceeds the protection threshold of 15A for 90s, turn off the charging MOSFET and stop charging. When the discharge current exceeds the protection threshold of 105A for 90 seconds, the MOSFET is turned off and the discharge is stopped. When the temperature of the battery is higher than 75 and lower than - 20 C, the charging and discharging MOSFET and the battery pack stop working. When the instantaneous high current (200A) occurs, the short circuit of the battery pack will turn off the charge and discharge MOSFET immediately, and the battery pack will stop working. The protection board is designed to protect lithium iron phosphate batteries from over-charging, over-discharge and short circuits. It is necessary for the protection board of lithium iron phosphate batteries to be useful. The circuit of the protection board can detect the voltage and current of each battery in series and control the charging and discharging process of the batteries.
